Prepare a coffee with Tassimo in 6 steps

1. Plug in the Tassimo coffee maker. And make sure the water tank is full (do not exceed the MAX mark in any case) or has enough for the preparation.

It is also used to clean it when you change drinks if you notice that the flavors mix, or when you have not used the machine for a few days or a while and you want to clean it internally. As I said, the use is easy, use the maintenance T-Disc that comes with the machine as if it were a normal capsule and throw away the hot water that it extracts. Remember that you must put a glass of at least 250 ml. This cleans all internal ducts, chamber walls and nozzle.
• descaling: It is a process that must be done periodically. In most coffee machines it is recommended to do it every 3 or 4 months, however, Tassimo usually includes a warning system so that you do not worry and know when you have to do it. This will also depend on the use and the type of water you use. There are special kits or tablets to descale these Bosch Tassimo machines on the market that you can buy. Once you have everything, the procedure is simple by following these steps:
  1. Fill the Tassimo's water reservoir up to the MAX mark. Also add two descaling tablets inside. Wait for them to dissolve completely.
  2. Put the service yellow T-Disc (barcode down) in the coffee maker. Place it on the head and the water tank on the machine.
  3. Place a 500 ml container on the machine support to hold the water to be poured.
  4. Press the button for 5 seconds. This causes the descaling process to start, which will last 30 min. When finished, the orange light comes on.
  5. Now you can throw away the expelled water and also wash the water tank well to remove all traces of the product. Refill the water tank to the MAX mark with clean water.
  6. Put the glass or container back on the stand. With the same service disk inside, press the power button briefly as you normally would. This will cause it to begin rinsing the entire interior with clean water to remove any traces of the descaling product.
  7. Repeat this rinse 3 or 4 times to thoroughly clean the interior and make sure it is free of debris.
  8. Now you can refill the water tank with clean water, remove the T-Disc from service, and you'll have the Tassimo ready to enjoy great drinks again.
